Our Open Space Management (OSM) team have an enviable record of delivery to the highest standards across New Zealand as part of parks contracts being delivered to a wide range of clients nationwide. Our teams are professional, focused on delivery of best practice on Parks Maintenance services to our clients and the members of the public.

The role

We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Tracks Specialist to join the team. In this role, you will ensure all Parks, Reserves, Berms and walkway areas covered by the contract specifications are kept in a clean and tidy state through regular litter collection, emptying of bins, weed eating of long grass areas, mowing, gardening and the application of selected herbicides. You will also assist other team members as required on various tasks.

Skills and Experience

We are seeking applications from candidates with the following:

• Full Drivers Licence along with HT would be an advantage
• Track building and experience with the use of an excavator would be an advantage.
• Ability to plan daily works , operate and maintain machinery without supervision
• Good communication skills
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Experience with weed eaters and hedge trimmers would be beneficial
• Current Grow Safe Certificate would be an advantage
