Duty Manager

This unique opportunity exists to be part of the start-up of this Customer Fulfillment Centre (CFC) in Brookvale and build the operational, commercial, and team member foundations of this site.

The Duty Manager role exists to ensure optimal CFC operational performance across all functions of site operation activities. This role exists to lead, supervise, and support a team at night to provide an exceptional level of service to all online customers through guiding the Online picking and packing, Inventory Management and Replenishment team; ensuring stock is available when required to support the picking of Online orders. This role will provide a full working knowledge of all departments & processes of the CFC as well as the ability to lead and motivate the team.

You will support the leading of the site at night & this role will report to the Customer Fulfillment Centre Manager.

When you will be needed

This full time position requires flexible availability to work between 7:00pm and 4:00am (overnights), including one weekend night.

  • Drive a safe and inclusive team culture in the CFC in the evening

  • Support the Customer Order Manager in managing team members in evening picking shifts

  • Spend time with the Inventory, Replenishment, and Customer Order teams to motivate, manage, and guide them to deliver results and drive best practice in the CFC

  • Overseeing the replenishment of the CFC after the evening pick session, ready for the morning session

  • Identify and develop talent in the CFC to build a talent pipeline for our Woolworths Group

  • Engage with other CFC teams to share best practice
