The Group Procurement team is an Enterprise-wide shared service function that provides strategic direction and guidance to our trading divisions, corporate partners, and suppliers to ensure the procurement of not for resale goods and services are compliant with international and Woolworths standards, as well as ethical sourcing principles. The team is positioned to drive change and continuous improvement across the business whilst continually focused on providing excellent customer experiences for our stakeholders.


About the Role
Our Procurement Reporting Analysts play an important role in creating value for the business by supporting the Procurement team and external teams with Non-Trade spend and other operational data. You will be very closely involved in providing data towards performance and strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Communicating with stakeholders, eliciting and understand requirements and translating into a data-driven solution,
  • Working with a diverse range of stakeholders across the business - influencing and negotiating where necessary,
  • Building reporting solutions to surface insights and information (reports, dashboards etc.),
  • Maintaining the data flow and ensuring accuracy and quality of existing database and dashboards, with a view to continuously improving quality and practice,
  • ETL of data - working from source systems such as SAP, SAP Ariba and others,
  • Working with multiple complex data sets to formulate meaningful business insights,
  • Leading projects from end-to-end and providing direction and technical leadership to junior members of the team,
  • Research, analyse and compile data from external source to inform value generation opportunities.


About you:

  • High-level of experience in development and analytical techniques using SQL,
  • High-level of experience in designing dashboards and visualisations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio,
  • Knowledge of ETL processes & data cleansing automation tools such as Tableau Prep, Data Prep, Composer, Alteryx,
  • Experience in data analysis, generation, and creation of reports. strong level of numeracy and the ability to work with statistical information and performance measures
  • Experience in working with databases, including building, augmenting and extracting data,
  • Experience in understanding stakeholder requirements and building a reporting solution via Tableau dashboards from concept to production.
  • Added advantage: Procurement background and working knowledge in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Big Query, Python, R, AI/ML
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in data analytics,
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field.
