In this highly regarded role, as a Category Assistant, you will be the first point of contact in the team for all vendor and supplier enquiries, you will manage customer complaints and be the 'go-to' person for any enquiries relating to your category within the team.
You will be highly organised, have exceptional attention to detail, outstanding written and verbal communication skills and seeking an opportunity to start/ develop a career within Buying. Here’s a sample of how you will spend your time in this role:
- Action customer complaints on time (weekly outstanding customer complaints report)
- Complete SAP processes and workflows for new lines and amendments
- Ensure administration from reviews is completed accurately within set timeframes
- Support the team with administration including archiving/ data entry
- Ensure quality and clarity of communication with stores, vendors and employees
- Follow QC/QA guidelines in line with policy (category specific)
- Adherence to Policies, Procedures, Timelines & Administrative requirements
- Ensure all food safety issues are escalated in a timely manner
