Flexi-Parts department are seeking Plant Mechanics who are team orientated and passionate about their trade. You will have demonstrated knowledge and skills to perform a wide variety of component rebuilds and overhaul of Caterpillar and Non-Caterpillar machines.

Roster will be Monday – Friday, 10 hours per shift at our Reid Road, Perth Airport Workshop.

Following tasks and duties:

• Effective and efficient control of operations
• Facilitating two-way communication
• Making decisions to enable a win/win solution for Flexi Parts & Mining Services and its customers
• Maintaining safe work practices and a safe work environment
• Providing a positive professional approach to customers
• Complete overhaul of machines and components

To be successful the following is required:

• Mechanical Trade Qualification
• Caterpillar and Non Caterpillar and associated products knowledge and maintenance experience
• Extensive experience and knowledge on the preparation, overhaul and assembly of Salt Specification machines
• Overhaul experience with ( but not limited to ) CAT, Cummins, Hitachi, Toro, Detroit, Dana Spicer, New Holland and Komatsu machinery
• Previous use of safety and risk assessment tools, such as Job Safety Analysis and Take 5's
• Commitment to adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Overhaul experience with CAT, Cummins, Hitachi, Toro, Detroit, Dana Spicer, New Holland and Komatsu machinery
• High Risk Licence – Forklift & Dogging
• Familiarity with service reporting and service literature
