About the role

As our new ERP Business Analyst you will help drive service delivery for our critical business systems and provide functional and technical expertise ensuring the Oracle JDE Enterprise One system and ReportsNow DAS and Mobie is effectively managed, supported and developed.

The role works collaboratively with Business System Administrators, subject-matter experts and third-party service providers, using SDLC principals and standards to develop solutions and resolve issues.

This role requires individuals to possess a versatile skill set that encompasses both technical and business analysis skills, providing a full variety of responsibilities including being involved in exciting projects.

Your key accountabilities include business analysis, system administration, system set up and maintenance and system support.



About you

You will be a team player who thrives working in a collaborative and supportive team and enjoy going between providing system support and project support. Good communication, strong analytical and problem solving skills are critical.

In addition to the above, our ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Must have 3+ years' experience with Oracle JDE Enterprise One
  • Experience in JDE Finance and Procurement modules, highly desirable
  • Experience with ReportsNow DAS and Mobie, highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, supporting an ERP system
  • Proven experience effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels of seniority
  • Knowledge of Inventory Management and Capital Asset Management modules
  • Functional understanding of JDE security
  • Bachelor in Business or computer science, desirable
  • Demonstrated alignment to V/Line's values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership and human rights.



Remuneration for this position will be in line with the V/Line Rail Operations and Administrative Employees Agreement 2019, the successful applicant will be paid up to $136,507 (inclusive of super) determined in line with skills and experience.
