About the role
Ventia is partnering with UGL as the provider of facilities management for the Country Link Rail Network for NSW.
As the Property Legal Manager you will work with our Property Management Team to provide effective legal management support to all operational groups for both our CRN and corporate property contracts.
This position can be based in Sydney with occasional travel to Orange for stakeholder engagement.
What you’ll be doing
- Provide expert legal advice in the area of property to ensure legal risks are minimised and mitigated.
- Reviewing and resolving various legal documents including leases, sub lease, licences, easements, right of ways and access agreements.
- Negotiations and resolutions of various deeds and agreements with external parties.
- Liaise with Ventia Legal Council and company secretary teams to coordinate document execution.
- Provide support to the Finance and Commercial Director.
About you
- Bachelor of Laws and registered Lawyer in NSW.
- Strong knowledge of legal contracts processes and industry practices.
- Property related legal experience highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work as a member of the team.
