Senior Project Officer
Transport for NSW is the lead agency of the NSW Transport cluster. Our role is to lead the development of a safe, efficient, integrated transport system that keeps people and goods moving, connects communities and shapes the future of our cities, centres and regions.
We are responsible for strategy, planning, policy, regulation, funding allocation and other non-service delivery functions for all modes of transport in NSW including road, rail, ferry, light rail, point to point, regional air, cycling and walking.
We focus on improving the customer experience and contract public and private operators to deliver customer-focused transport services on our behalf.
We also lead the procurement of transport infrastructure and oversee delivery through project delivery offices and industry delivery partners.

The Division
The Regional and Outer Metropolitan division is focused on understanding the particular needs of regional communities across NSW and delivering customer-centred integrated transport services and infrastructure.
The opportunity
Right now, we have a opportunity for a Senior Project Officer to join us in the Community and Place team. The Senior Project Officer role supports the development, implementation and evaluation of a wide range of projects and initiatives in support of Branch strategic objectives, organisational strategic plans and workforce management programs. The role forms part of a flexible, multi-skilled team that will work across a variety of areas within the branch.

About you
We are looking for a Senior Project Officer who demonstrates excellent collaboration, communication and relationship management skills. You will have extensive experience in supporting complex or sensitive projects, including the high-level ability to set clear goals and implement systems to ensure projects meet agreed objectives.
This is a high level role, so you will confidently manage your own planning and prioritising of work and tasks. This position is a full time Temporary Fixed Term until 30 June 2021. Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is RMS USS 9 ($114,601 – $123,199) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
