The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director and leading the Commercial & Performance function for the business, you will be working in a complex PPP environment. You’ll bring together a strong knowledge of contracting structures, a strategic commercial mindset, and an understanding of how the operations of the business translate into overall performance and financial outcomes. You will spearhead the use of performance data to drive continuous improvement and business outcomes, working collaboratively with your colleagues across the business.

You’ll also be responsible for ensuring a high standard of compliance, reporting and data integrity.

You will possess the ability to communicate with senior-level stakeholders within the business and within the PPP.

You will lead a diverse and motivated team and form strong relationships across the business.

What you bring

In addition to relevant tertiary qualifications (commercial law , engineering or business related), your background will include extensive contract management experience in a highly compliant and regulated environment. This will be supported by an in-depth understanding of complex contractual arrangements with the operational phase of a PPP and defect management and claims process. You’ll be able to deploy this experience to think laterally and reach commercial resolutions. You will have the ability to understand complex data structures, the systems behind them, and reporting requirements. You’ll have an interest in translating these into business minded visualisation guidance.

In addition to your high level of commercial acumen you will possess the ability to identify financial risk and opportunity to support the broader management team. Given the nature of the role you will have the ability to effectively represent, influence and drive outcomes with multiple stakeholders.
