Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure product and / or product components comply with specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release.
Responsibilities:
- Perform final inspections on machine components
- Use standard inspection equipment including RAM and OGP
- Inspect product from production or suppliers
- Perform Inspection on Deliveries shipping to customers to ensure that all the Quality requirements are met.
- Setup, and operate measuring systems to determine whether parts meet print dimensions
- Establish daily priorities and determine the most important tasks to perform at any given time of the day
- Use various software applications including Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word
- Ability to send and receive data instructions via E-mail using the above applications
- Communicate the results of inspections to Engineering, Inspection and Management
- Ability to work and train inspectors and other personnel on use of the OGP and RAM or other standard measurement equipment
- Work with production personnel to trouble shoot and problem solve issues related to inspection of components or other similar problems
- Perform First Article Inspections to customer and internal prints using AS9100 format.
- Ability to read blueprints
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Prior inspection experience preferred
- Knowledge of FAI’s preferred
- Previous SPC experience optional

COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $34,800 – $52,200
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
- Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
