About the Role

Base Location: Perth (with a requirement to be based in the Perth office 2-3 days per week, with flexibility to work from home / another SSE office the remainder of the week).

Salary: £45,400 - £68,200 + {performance-related bonus} + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

This is an exciting role which provides the opportunity for operational, financial, and analytical experience and the chance to add considerable and quantifiable value to the business. As a Settlements Senior Analyst you will interpret and analyse complex contracts and work with multiple project teams to ensure successful delivery and implementation of robust and auditable settlements activities.
You will work across Settlements to ensure we are making best use of Office 365 applications and any other products to improve and streamline processes. Coaching will be part of the role, supporting best practice across all processes and focus will be on continuous improvement and support in the development of high-quality business tools. As part of your role you will:
- Interpret complex contract and industry information from various sources and use this to successful deliver settlements solution.
- Develop and enhance data analysis and workflow management tools.
- Drive continuous improvement throughout Settlements.
- Research and knowledge sharing around new technologies (e.g. solar, battery, hydrogen).
- Coach to support delivery of best practice.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

-Ability to interpret contractual documentation assessing wider implications, scoping & implementing the practical applications. Experience of this within energy sector would be desirable.
- Very strong skills in Microsoft applications (Office 365).
- Continuous improvement mindset; exposure or experience of Lean would be advantageous.
- Very strong communication and coaching skills, you will be able to work at pace to achieve key deliverables and will be adept at both supporting and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and a willingness to take the initiative and ownership of gathering required knowledge to aid understanding.
