Base Location: Aberdeen, Glasgow, Cumbernauld, Inverness, Perth
Salary: Circa £21,000 per annum (pro-rata)
Working Pattern: Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options available
What is the role?
Working as part of our multi-disciplined teams, we have a range of opportunities for students to support projects across our Transmission business. We're at the forefront of some really high-profile projects which are ensuring our transmission network is structurally sound, operating safely and efficiently and providing sustainable and reliable energy to all.

Our Transmission Engineering & Project Management summer placements provides real hands-on experience through a 12 week placement in one of our engineering and project management based teams. Throughout the placement, you will have the support of a business mentor and buddy, who will provide guidance and support to enable you to reach your full potential.
Our summer placement students work collaboratively in a variety of contexts, while also taking ownership of their role by working under their own direction to drive action forward. There will also be networking and presentation opportunities, specialist sessions and support from our graduates.
What do I need?
We have opportunities for those studying degrees inclusive of; Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Engineering, Materials Technology, Hydrographic Surveying and Geotechnical, Nautical/Subsea Engineering, Naval Architecture, Construction Management, Logistics / Logistics Management, or Project Management. Our opportunities are open to students who are in their 2nd year of their degree onwards and will graduate between 2025 and 2027.
