Our growing sales teams work directly with notable brands and entrepreneurs to develop their commerce strategies — whether that is starting or expanding their e-commerce business or brick & mortar operations.

Our Acceleration teams focus on working with exciting and growing merchants with an annual revenue up to 125M. You will thrive in a fast-paced team environment, engaging with diverse merchants, and benefiting from personalized training and career prospects. Our central goal is to expedite the growth of existing merchants and help them navigate their present challenges.
We are enthusiastic about delivering exceptional merchant experiences and are dedicated to enhancing commerce experiences for all.
You’ll be working on things like:
- Understanding the unique business goals, needs, and pain points of prospects, and assisting them in growing their business using Shopify’s retail products.
- Leading complex deals involving multiple stakeholders throughout the entire sales cycle, from discovery to contract negotiations.
- Managing a pipeline of 20+ opportunities concurrently.
- Navigating the sales cycle effectively, ensuring efficient pipeline management.
- Collaborating with other Shopify teams within your region to deliver the highest level of merchant experience.

Qualifications
- Proven track record of successfully managing and closing complex full sales cycle deals, preferably in a technology or software product environment.
- Sales acumen with strong discovery skills to identify pain points and effectively communicate the value of product solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust and provide clients with the best solutions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the market and industry in which our merchants operate, including an understanding of their business challenges and how Shopify can address them.
- Ability to manage large pipelines and handle multiple deals simultaneously.
- Desire to learn and master the value of new product iterations, and educate our growing merchant base.
- Passion for engaging with people, understanding their unique business needs, and demonstrating how Shopify can help them achieve 10x growth.
- Ability to innovate and develop new sales strategies to disrupt enterprise software sales.
Bonus
- Background in SAAS or retail tech.
- In-depth knowledge of the competitive landscape in retail tech and commerce
- Previous experience selling POS systems is a plus
- Experience with MEDDICC, BANT, and Challenger sales methodologies is a plus.
