The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an Analyst/Investigator to be a part of our Compliance and Regulatory Services Division at Roads and Maritime Services. This position plays a key role in conducting investigations following allegations of fraud, including determining the validity of documents and submitting investigation reports and briefs of evidences to support administrative action, sanctions and/or prosecutions.
Reporting to the Licence Integrity Team Leader you will undertake investigations into allegations of fraud associated to licences, registrations and other documents issued by RMS. You will engage and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders in relation to combating identity fraud and will be a key user of the RMS Facial Recognition System.
To be successful in this role you will have;
• Demonstrated experience in satisfactorily leading investigations within a high pressure and high volume working environment.
• Extensive knowledge of evidentiary requirements of the law and of proof of identity issues as well as the ability to prepare evidence and statements for prosecutions and for sanctions to be applied.

Essential requirements
