About the role

Joining our team of 5 senior and corporate lawyers and reporting into the Legal Counsel, you will provide proactive, commercially focussed and user friendly legal advice.

Your area of responsibility will be the management of National Electricity Rules (NER) compliance and managing the drafting and preparation multiple Chapter 5 NER Connection agreement contracts, specifically dealing with renewable generation application as well as existing connection customer contracts.

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Providing advice for and drafting connection contracts for non-regulated business activities.
  • Completing variations for existing connection contracts. Managing external providers and establishing and enhancing a precedent database.

About you

You might be looking to make the move from an external law firm or already have in-house experience, what is most important is your considerable experience across National Electricity Rules and associated legal obligations.

You also have a current QLS practicing certificate and an open drivers licence.
