Purpose of the role

Core Finance Lead is responsible for designing forward looking Finance processes and capabilities in a S4 HANA environment, and implementing them, as Core Finance Lead in a major SAP Central Finance Implementation


Individual Accountabilities

• We are implementing SAP Central Finance, and are looking for an experienced Core Finance Lead to lead our Core Finance Value Stream
  
• Responsible for assessing current finance processes, on existing ERP. And designing a future finance processes, along with Global Process Leads and Global Process owners.
  
• Implementation of the new design in SAP Central Finance, to ensure that there is a Standardization of the finance processes to a large extent, and driving conversations and influencing wider finance community to move to ‘fit to standard’ approach.
  
• Responsible to propose with data driven insights to nudge the finance organization to adopt to the new capabilities, while clearly bringing out the value addition which is possible
  
• Integrating the newly designed processes with best of breed solutions for Finance such as Blackline, Trintech, Treasury and Risk Management, Consolidation.
  

Education & Work Experience

• 12-15 years of experience in Finance and with 5+ years of experience of finance projects roll out in SAP.
  
• Accounting/Finance post-graduation
  
• Hands on experience with AR/AP, Electronic Banking, Cash Management, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Asset Accounting, etc.
  
• Core finance processes as Tax (Direct / Indirect), Treasury, Financial Consolidation and Finance / Management reporting.
  
• Demonstrable experience in Global organizations, with experience rolling out central and regional projects ideally internationally Involved with at least two end-to-end full lifecycle projects.
  
• One end to end implementation experience of S4 HANA CFIN is desirable
  
• Experience in consumer goods industry or electronics industry is highly preferred.
  
• Understanding of Industry frameworks like Risk and Compliance (COSO etc), IFRS/USGAAP Consolidation and disclosure needs , Internal audit
  
• Experience with Big 4 / Niche Finance Transformation consultancies
  
• Acquisition or Disposal experience on separating or integrating systems for managing the acquisition/disposal is a preferable experience
