THE ROLE

This is a unique opportunity to join our Jindabyne Data and Analytics team. Jindabyne is the business led, cloud-based data and analytics capability, which allows the analytics community easy access to data in a single, central repository along with powerful analytics tools. The Cloud DevOps Specialist will contribute to the success of the data and analytics platform by delivering solutions for the integration and processing of data to support data and analytics programs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Design, implement and support software integration and deployment pipelines using advanced cloud based technologies
• Design, implement and support new and improved VPP operational capabilities.
• Ensure efficient and consistent deployment and management of VPP components across multiple production and pre-production environments
• Work directly with Origin technical SMEs to ensure new VPP components are designed for efficient testing, deployment and operation
• Provide second and third level technical guidance and support for VPP capabilities, platforms and technologies
• Ensure VPP security is maintained

IS THIS YOU?

You’ll need to be agile, analytical, and astute with excellent problem solving and communication skills.

To be considered you will have:

• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies with a focus on source code management and deployment automation.
• Tertiary qualification in an IT related discipline
• Experience working with technical SMEs to design, implement and support automated software deployment and management solutions.
• Hands-on experience with software development and management tools (including Git, Python, Linux, Bash)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
