Your new role awaits:
The Private Direct Banker manages a portfolio of Private Direct clients through needs based conversations and email based client servicing. Drawing from deep industry insights, you’ll work as part of a team and provide leadership to Associates to ensure team success.
You will be accountable in supporting the private direct experience by:
- Supporting clients’ transactional and day-to-day enquiries or requests
- Being confident and able to have conversations with clients
- Demonstrating consistent and quality service to retain clients, including efficiently responding to requests
- Ensuring a consistently high standard of loan documentation, as well as attending to the maintenance of loans - including renewals
- Identifying and meeting the needs of NAB Private Direct clients by drawing on specialist capabilities and seeking to surpass client expectations
- Ensuring follow-up and completion of Client Profile following client conversations
You will be accountable for delivering results by:
- Leading the pooled Associates through coaching of sales and service initiatives that maximise client satisfaction and a team success mindset
- Ensuring that portfolio asset quality is managed and maintained at acceptable risk levels
- Proactive client outbound calling
- Developing relationships with specialists and drawing upon NAB Private’s capabilities to meet their clients’ needs
- Provisioning high quality banking, investment & portfolio management services; referring to Specialists as required as well as being able to identify when clients may be better aligned to either the traditional NAB Private relationship model or another division such as Personal Bank
- Leveraging from your strong credit skills with the ability to understand key metrics and lending requirements to ensure lending applications are consistent with credit policy
Experience/Skills:
The successful candidate will have previous experience in client relationship management, preferably within financial services environment or other customer service based industry. A tertiary degree in either Banking & Finance, or a business related discipline and/or a Diploma of Financial Services/RG146 accreditation is preferred.
