The SMC Segment is hiring a Sales Enablement Change Management Directorwho will drive complex change programs across our industries, segments, and solution areas.
In this role you will be accountable for a portfolio of change programs that span multiple business segments and require effective change management, communication and landing with sales and marketing teams across our four primary regions (North America, EMEA, Asia, LATAM). You will work closely with senior leaders to define the approach to change, ensure effective prioritization and alignment of plans to the MCAPS annual planning cycle and drive adjustments to strategies that maximize speed and impact . This role provides an opportunity to drive significant impact in how we manage and land change in Microsoft allowing you to operate across a broad variety of subjects and accelerate the ability of our commercial teams to drive our growth and take share while empowering them to be more agile, successful. You will work in partnership with Change Governance and Landing Team and participate in the Area Change Leader (ACL) community.
Responsibilities
- Change strategy: Establish and gain agreement for change management strategies for industries, segments and solution areas across multiple stakeholders, ensuring effective integration of the change plans between your team and with other teams across Microsoft
- Governance: Confirm and own/sponsor stakeholder governance groups, supporting coherent executive connections across each of the change leader’s remits
- Change management planning: Provide support as needed to the Change Governance and Landing team change leaders to develop, own, and run optimized change management plans, leveraging Change Landing and Governance and Microsoft Launch frameworks.
- V-Team orchestration: Ensure clear, comprehensive and active V-teams are established and managed for each in scope program across people, policy, process and tools changes.
- Communications: ensure all programs deliver clear and impactful communications and content to relevant audiences and roles for in scope change programs
- Risk and resistance management: across all programs in scope
- Operational excellence: ensure necessary processes and tools, as well as other operating patterns are aligned or adjusted as needed to avoid unintended consequences
- Reinforcement: drive change management effectiveness leveraging listening channels to gather feedback, diagnose gaps and areas of resistance, and implement corrective actions.
- Academy for SMC: own and drive the Academy for SMC readiness engine for sales process and capabilities training

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years experience in in Near Term Strategy (2 years out), Management Consulting, Sales, or Finance.
- Experience in change management
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep change management experience, ideally 8+ years of operational or business management experience in performing responsibilities outlined here. Experience gained in a large, multi-national organization, with a background in global scale or large-scale coordination of programs across functions and regions.
- Proven experience of leading change teams and initiatives, iterating through and operationalizing execution plans in an ambiguous environment.
- Experience across multiple parts of the commercial business with ability to work effectively across diverse groups, responsive with a customer service orientation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional project management qualification and change management certification (e.g. PROSCI) preferred.
- Creative thinker, learner, and communicator who is willing to challenge conventional thinking, innovate, and influence at multiple levels within and across organizations
- Confident in ability to contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced, fast-changing and sometimes unpredictable work environment
