Group Finance Manager - Fulfillment and Logistics

The Devices finance team is looking for a motivated individual with enthusiasm to take on a high impact role as Group Finance Manager of our Global Fulfillment and Logistics/Channel finance team. The individual will lead a team of high performing talent to manage our the E2E of fulfillment, logistics (inbound, outbound, and reverse logistics), Software Manufacturing and other third-party products (3PP). In this role you will partner with the F&L Operation, Planning, Sourcing and NPI teams to connect our operational strategies to our long-term financial goals. You will also be responsible for in-year financial management which includes driving optimization and efficiencies to achieve near-term and long-range margin objectives.
The individual will manage all fulfillment & logistics (inbound, outbound, and reverse logistics), Software Manufacturing, Channels relation & fulfillment (warehouses) finance for all hardware products such as: Xbox, Surface, HoloLens, Surface Hub, and PC peripherals.
This Finance role will be instrumental in supporting & influencing our operational strategies that are critical to enabling the success of Microsoft’s growing Device’s business. The successful candidate will bring a combination of financial expertise and amazing leadership ability to drive superior financial results in close alignment with our business partners. The person will ensure controls and compliance policies are met, create new standard operating procedures, improve processes, and actively monitor risks and opportunities. Finally, this role provides financial leadership for a broad business scope across Devices including Xbox, Surface, HoloLens, Surface Hub, and PC peripherals.

Responsibilities
- Support and lead a finance team; provide coaching, develop talent, recruit, and set priorities for all team members.
- Leading the annual budget, quarterly forecast, and monthly closing processes. execution of long-range business planning and forecasting process. Completing analysis, modeling, and research to support preliminary and adjusted forecast cycles. Partnering and soliciting insight from business and other finance stakeholders.
- Understanding business objectives and using complex data to analyze and provide insightful, fact-based data analysis and scenario modeling.
- Integrating varied data sources and assimilating the information into a comprehensive, clear narrative. Communicating results in a compelling and understandable message.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
- OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 4+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
- OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in supply chain and F&L
- Ability to communicate complex analysis in a simple way. Executive level oral and written communication skills.
- Proven leadership skills, with demonstrated results in proactively driving and delivering high value/high-impact project results through both individual and v-team efforts
- Self-starter driving best-in-class decision support in ambiguous environments
- Strong analytical, collaboration, and time management skills
