We are looking for a highly technical program manager with real passion for core cloud infrastructure, to build experiences that enable our customers, to keep their apps running even when the platform beneath them is constantly changing. Our team works on core infrastructure that helps provide maintenance control to our customers across their Azure resources, so that they can decide when to take platform updates without disrupting their workloads. Given the scale of Azure, the work on our team delivers huge impact by providing solutions that enable services across Azure to keep innovating their technology to keep Azure secure, reliable and feature rich, while ensuring that the changes do not disrupt the largest customers that are running their online business on Azure.

Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers and partner teams to continuously evolve the Azure maintenance experience including our public APIs.
  • Lead product planning for E2E scenarios
  • Define KPIs and establish and execute on plans for improving those KPIs
  • Partner with the development team on scenario design, product tradeoffs, incremental delivery
  • Drive cross team alignment for technical issues and customer experiences
  • Prepare content for cross-team and executive reviews
  • Present to customers, and use customer and partner feedback to continuously improve the product and the technology
  • Understand customer requirements around Azure deployments and drive them into the product
  • Strategic thinking, understanding of data to make decisions, but also able to perform when there is ambiguity

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Software industry, out of them at least 3 years as a PM/TPM, shipping infrastructure components or large products/services including APIs.
  • 2+ years of experience working on highly technical projects and a solid foundation in software engineering principles
  • 2+ years of experience managing stakeholders both internal and externally with excellent written communication

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands on experience working with data to build inferences and visualizations to help with decision making.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, and able to lead and motivate a high-energy team
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Strong cross-team collaboration skills
  • Experience with cloud deployment and change management technologies are strongly preferred.
  • BA/BS or MS degree in computer science, engineering, or related disciplines
