The WWIC, Business & Sales Operations (WBSO) team mission is to Enable Strategy, Motivate Sellers, and Reward Results.  In pursuit of this mission the team designs and implements variable incentive-based compensation plans for sellers, sales leaders, and consultants across Microsoft.

Microsoft is on a mission to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. Our culture is centered on making a difference by being customer obsessed, diverse yet inclusive, and thinking as one Microsoft.

The Implementation manager partners with the segment plan design lead to enable incentives that motivate seller behavior and drive the company's strategies. From the initial inception of the incentive, the implementation manager discusses the requirements and runs assessments to determine the feasibility for launching the new plan in our systems. The implementation manager then configures the plan that enables other teams across WBSO to setup participants, produce quotas and determine payouts.

The implementation manager also partners with the Seller Experience and Sales Operations Excellence teams to ensure plans land appropriately through official documentation and guidance. Being an expert in their segment compensation, the implementation manager provides third tier support for complex seller questions.

The ideal candidate excels at program management, orchestrating activities across other teams to meet rigorous timelines. The ideal candidate has experience in compensation and/or financial systems, understands revenue streams, and the impact on sellers payouts. The candidate must also have a proven ability to work effectively in a large, cross-geography, cross-business, virtual team environment.
