The Training Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Administrator is accountable for all Rolling Stock training administration associated with uploading, verifying, and maintaining training records within the RIW system to support Rolling Stock safety requirements, work processes and training requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain effective systems and processes for the administration of the RIW system for Rolling Stock.
- Ensure all training competencies are uploaded and verified in a consistent and timely manner.
- Assist the Rolling Stock Training Team with maintaining relevant RIW associated data collection and contribute to the ongoing development of accurate data collation and reporting.
- Assist in the management of RIW training/competency related enquiries from other MTM divisions and external commercial companies.
- Assist with compliance checks and auditing of external commercial companies ensuring that all training requirements for Rolling Stock meet expectations.
- Support the Rolling Stock Training Team in the development and improvement of collecting and collating competency data for the RIW system.
- Identify potential opportunities and implement actions to continually improve training data collation and reporting processes associated with requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstration of relevant business administration experience
- Competent in all Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent administrative skills, particularly with respect to accuracy, multitasking and attention to detail
- Ability to manage, use and maintain administrative and competency management systems
- Experience in maintaining strict confidentially within a multi discipline commercial environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff (verbal and written)
- Ability to follow occupational health, safety and environmental procedures in the rail industry
- Ability to schedule work priorities to ensure deadlines are strictly adhered to
