Job Description
About the role:
You’ll ensure the smooth operation of all branch tasks and nurture your team to be the very best they can be, by making the most of your best talent – developing people - using your observation, feedback and mentoring skills.
You'll be part of The Guernsey Community Bank Management Team. Establishing relationships with colleagues and customers alike, you'll build great teams with a reputation for great local service!
We just need you to demonstrate the following qualities:
Ability to lead and manage people, performance and day to day management of a branch.
Some previous Retail management experience, ideally in Banking or Financial Services (but not essential, other industry experience is fine).
Leading by example with your customer service behaviours in the banking hall, greeting customers, helping colleagues and showing you care.
The organisation skills to plan your resources for the day-to-day running of the branch and also preparing your team for reviews and audits etc.
The ability to resolve issues when things don't go well, ensuring your people are fully proficient in quite a complex environment.
The desire to build performance and competence by effectively organising development plans and coaching accordingly.
Managing the risks to ensure adherence to all policies and procedures and that they’re in line with the risk frameworks and are compliant.
The flexibility to work in branches across the area and occasional Saturdays when needed.
We'd also ideally like you to possess any necessary residency license permissions.
