We are looking for a Qualified Mechanical Fitter to join our Trades team at XXXX Brewery in Milton QLD. This is a 12-month fixed term contract working a 24-hour week.

This role operates on the following shift pattern.

Rotating 2 x 12-hour shifts:

• Friday Afternoon (2pm to 2am)
• Saturday Day (2am to 2pm)
• Sunday Night (10pm to Mon 10am)

**Weekend Penalty Rates & Project Completion Bonus Applies**

As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting with first response support for breakdowns and updates across the Brewery.
• Support the delivery of production rates through minimising waste events related to the equipment on site.
• Provide maintenance support to the equipment onsite
• Problem Solving of mechanical issues, breakdowns and timely rectification
• Work with the production team to troubleshoot as required
• Support with the delivery of work orders
• Supervising contractors attending the site for equipment maintenance
• Champion a safety-first culture across the Brewery

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Mechanical Trade qualification
• Previous leadership experience in planning or supervising of maintenance activities
• Stakeholder engagement and the ability to bring people on a journey
• Decision making in ambiguous situations
• An understanding of production and packaging within an FMCG environment
