Join the team

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented Public Relations, Social Media and Events Manager to join our industry leading marketing team to bring our brand story to life. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the best marketing professionals in the business and play a critical role in shaping and optimising our much loved and highly engaged social community.

In this role you will work collaboratively with the marketing leadership team and other key stakeholders to create and execute PR initiatives and events.

What you’ll be doing

  • Creation of PR, social and event strategies alongside the Head of PR, Social and Events

  • Execution of approved PR, social and event strategies

  • PR advice and local store support

  • Management of PR database and relationships with media

  • External agency management

  • Deliver timely and actionable post implementation reviews for campaigns

  • Manage and reconcile campaign budgets

To be successful in this team you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or related Business discipline

  • Marketing experience in a fast-paced environment

  • Passionate about customers and the Kmart brand

  • Exceptional collaboration and influencing skills

  • Adept at working cross functionally and engaging stakeholders
