Job Summary

As an Analyst/Associate in JPMorgan's Private Side Derivatives Marketing team, you will identify, structure, and execute cross asset markets solutions for the firm's private equity, infrastructure, credit and real estate funds. Typical transaction types include structured fund and asset backed financing solutions, foreign exchange, interest rate and commodity hedging. This role is based in London.

Job responsibilities

  • Assist in the origination and negotiation of fund financing opportunities, and financing secured by equity and credit assets
  • Work in partnership with existing interest rate, foreign exchange and commodities teams to navigate overall derivatives revenue
  • Collaborate globally with banking, trading, credit, structuring and other internal partners in executing strategies
  • Evaluate credit, market and reputational risk, and work with appropriate partners to effectively manage these risks
  • Be responsible for end-to-end deal management, including generation of pitches, coordination of internal approvals and external counsel

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • BA or BS required
  • Experience in derivatives, structured finance, leveraged finance or similar
  • Strong knowledge of Global Markets, including equity, credit, fixed income and corporate debt markets
  • Candidates must display a high degree of ethics and integrity
  • Prior experience working collaboratively in a team-based environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience working with financial sponsors
  • Derivatives experience

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
