The Multi-National Corporate Sales team is part of J.P. Morgan Payments EMEA Corporate and E-Commerce Sales team and is responsible for winning and growing new Payments business from global Multi-National Corporates. The Payments Sales role is focused on growing new business and managing existing client relationships. The teams work closely with the various Payments product areas of Core Cash Management, Liquidity Management, Foreign Exchange (FX), Escrow, Merchant Services and Trade and Working Capital as well as Global Corporate Banking, Investment Banking and Credit.
Job Summary:
- We are looking to recruit a Sales Associate based in London to support inbound Multi-Natioinal Corporates.
- The Associate will be part of the UK & Ireland sales team working closely with the local, regional and global Payments and Corporate Banking teams, as well as with clients and internal partners, assisting them with the development, execution and service of client relationships.
- The Associate will also assume responsibility for a number of clients, prospects and internal processes.
Job responsibilities:
- Understand our clients' Treasury and Payments objectives and stay up-to-date on existing clients' account structure, cash flow, and product usage.
- Support Payments Sales Managers (PSMs) with client coverage, assist with Request for Information (RFP) / Request for Proposal (RFI) responses and coordinate with internal teams to complete ad-hoc project work and analysis
- Assist with internal aspects of existing client relationships and participating in the development of new relationships.
- Work closely with senior Bankers and Management to deliver client related initiatives, tasks and projects.
- Join external client meetings when appropriate and joining (or coordinating) client calls. Ensuring effective, timely call reports and follow-up.
- Support the team to manage new client onboardings, Know Your Client (KYC) remediation and renewals internally and with clients.
- Be involved in the preparation of client account plans, senior officer briefing memos and portfolio revenue management reporting.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Relevant prior experience (Corporate Banking or Payments role in a bank and/or Treasury Function within a Corporate).
- Able to communicate effectively across different seniority levels and businesses
- Able to demonstrate internal and external relationship building experience.
- Fluency in English is essential
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or similar with outstanding academic credentials (preferred). Or able to demonstrate relevant experience within the workplace.
