Business Overview and Role Description:
Product Development Associate for PERES platforms will be responsible for assisting with client reporting, process re-engineering, technology optimization and deployment of platforms. The successful candidate will be expected to support the implementation of a client reporting across close ended structures, re-engineer processes, and suggest operational efficiencies in a controlled fashion through effective use of our technology stack.
He or she will be expected to have experience and an understanding of the PERES fund administration business, providing guidance on all product aspects of the funds business, as well as working closely with our business partners in Operations, Risk, Technology, Product Development, Compliance, and Sales / Relationship Management.
Responsibilities and Objectives:
- Significant experience in consulting, private equity, and/or accounting
- Assist in the development and management of a best-in-class automated technology platform to administer closed ended funds
- Evaluate technology training needs of PERES staff globally and work with partners to provide adequate training programs to ensure effective technology usage
- Execute on global product development initiatives ranging from automation, standardization and innovation
- Liaise with third party technology provider, FIS, to ensure optimal use of technology
- Support change management process for FIS Investran and DX for Product Management
- Conduct business process review and implement adequate process controls and checklists
- Drive the automation of financial reporting for most accounting standards including JGAAP
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Self-starter with a proven track record in private equity fund administration
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to execute on multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Demonstrates ability to synthesize information, prioritize and drive results with a high sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Ability to generate support from a wide range of stakeholders and peers across the department and globe
- FIS Investran & IDX SME
- Specific experience in private equity and/or fund administration
The role is based in London but will involve regular interaction with J.P. Morgan teams across the globe.
