Division Overview

Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable Warehouse Associates to join our growing team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Processing, packing and shipping orders accurately.
  • Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments.
  • Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately.
  • Assist with assembly and packaging of incoming parts
  • Inspect products for defects and damages.
  • Cycle counts | Inventory
  • Assist with miscellaneous warehouse duties as assigned
  • Support the Company’s warehouse operations and contribute to Company growth through on-time and accurate delivery of products.
  • Keeping up cleanliness in the warehouse, Service, clean, and supply restroom
  • Wear proper safety equipment, *Steel toe shoes are required*
  • Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping pallet area, and workstations neat; Sweep, dust and mop.

Skills and Experience

  • Forklift experience is necessary (minimum 3 months)
  • Experience with hand tools, table saw, nail gun. For pallet making
  • Ability to lift 50-75 pounds
  • High energy level and strong dependability
  • Possesses basic math skills and ability to interpret documents
  • Attention to detail, Capacity to work independently & Ability to constantly improve and optimize
  • Positivity and Great Teamworking Skills
  • Ability to bend, squat and stretch for purposes of inventory and stocking
  • Requirement to stand or sit for long periods of time
