What's on offer:
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and motivated Transport Allocator for scheduling our asphalt fleet and heavy haulage operations. Day to day you will:

• Taking customers' orders;
• Planning and allocation of asphalt deliveries to roadsides;
• Coordinate and control the daily activities of the Fulton Hogan company-owned and subcontracted asphalt and heavy haulage fleet;
• Liaise with approved contractors for trucks to achieve daily transport requirements;
• Liaise with internal and external customers to coordinate any changes to scheduled transport arrangements;
• Liaise with workshops regarding equipment repairs and scheduled fleet maintenance;
• Demonstrated work scheduling, problem-solving and hazard identification;
• Proactive approach to providing transport solutions;
• Enter job allocation data for transport.

How you'll connect to the role:

To be successful in this role you will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to independently juggle multiple tasks. Good communication with team members is required to ensure provision of timely, seamless, and safe operations. You will also:

• At least 3 years' experience in logistics/transport administration or similar position;
• Excellent safety and customer service focus;
• Excellent computer package competencies;
• Enthusiasm, drive, flexible and positive attitude;
• Ability to make decisions under pressure and apply critical thinking;
• Understanding of Transport Legislation, HVNL, OSOM.
