Media Agency Manager, LATAM

The Global Media Planning Team is responsible for organising the construction of the EG brand’s media strategies and plans, whether this is done internally or via agencies. This role is to be the Media Manager across LATAM reporting into the Senior Media Manager and will be managing the agencies across Mexico and Brazil, plus supporting on US Latino strategy.They will be responsible forproviding the brand’s media requirements to the media agency and supervising the development of the local market media strategies. They will also be responsible for managing the team’s construction of the detailed plans whether that is done by the agency or the in-house experts.

The LATAM Agency Manager will be the champion of their markets, representing them within global workstreams. They will be coordinating and building alignment across many internal and external interdependent stakeholders, ensuring best in class strategies and plans are constructed that deliver business performance.

What you'll do:

  • Manage agency relationship including contracts and invoicing

  • Management of end-to-end media planning and buying partnering with Brand Teams, EG Media Brand Leads, Digital Channel Leads, and Media Agencies across all brand channels

  • Act as a conduit between EG Media and Agencies.

  • Manage briefing of media agency 

  • Supervise agency’s development of Local Market Media Strategy and Detailed Channel Plans ensuring ladders up to Global Media Strategy across all brand media channels, including (but not limited to) Television, Outdoor, Radio, Print, Cinema, and Digital

  • For inhouse media channels coordinate Channel Lead’s inputting tactical recommendations within the Local Market Media Strategy

  • For inhouse media channels coordinate Channel Lead’s construction of Detailed Channel Plans ensuring they collaborate with agency outputs  

  • Develop, supervise and iterate the interaction process with media agencies and internal teams

  • Manage the provision of specs & deliverables for agency managed media channels

  • Be the PoC and voice of their respective market strategies and plans along with providing market opportunities / updates

  • Attend forums and working groups where their local market expertise isrequired and include Channel talent when necessary 

  • Ensure relevant measurement strategies are incorporated into activities

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of strategic media planning knowledge

  • English and Spanish language fluency, Brazilian Portuguese a plus

  • Established understanding of media agency operations, whether built through media agency roles or client-side agency management

  • Knowledge of local media landscapes

  • Ability to synthesise detailed information

  • Expert PowerPoint / Keynote skills

  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills

  • Data driven

  • Consultative approach

  • Strong interpersonal, expectation management and stakeholder alignment skills

  • Ability to prioritise and coordinate multiple work assignments

  • Willingness to take ownership of issues and drive solutions

The total cash range for this position in West Hollywood is $82,500.00 to $115,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $132,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
