ESG and Sustainability Senior Data Analyst

We are seeking an ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and Sustainability Senior Data Analyst to be an integral part of our Social Impact and Sustainability team. This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing and reporting on data related to Expedia Group’s ESG and sustainability performance and initiatives. This role is critical to providing accurate, data-driven insights to support informed decision making by internal and external stakeholders, including Expedia Group leaders, investors and regulators.

What you'll do:

  • Collect and maintain datasets related to ESG and sustainability metrics, financial performance, and corporate disclosures from various sources

  • Use analytical tools to review ESG and sustainability data; identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement

  • Support the preparation of annual ESG report, sustainability disclosures, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate Expedia Group’s commitment to ESG/sustainability

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout data validation and finalization processes

  • Monitor and report on trends in ESG and sustainability data and assess their potential impacts on the business

  • Identify relevant and new datasets and sources to enhance the quality and depth of ESG and sustainability analysis.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders; align ESG and sustainability data with broader corporate strategies

  • Engage with ESG raters and indices to improve performance metrics

Who you are:

  • 2+ years of experience in ESG or corporate sustainability roles

  • Expertise in multitasking and organizational skills, including experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency in data analysis and management, using tools like Excel and specialized ESG reporting platforms

  • Experience with ESG frameworks and regulatory requirements, such as GRI, CDP, SASB, TCFD, EU CSRD, and SEC disclosure rules

  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights effectively

  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $82,500 to $115,500. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $132,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in New York is $84,500.00 to $118,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $135,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
