Expedia Group's Global Executive Search Team is seeking an Executive Sourcer with exceptional talent sourcing and assessment skills to join our global, in-house executive recruiting team.

Expedia Group’s executives are deeply involved and committed to partnering with executive recruiting to hire the very best talent.

You will partner on searches and lead the designing, implementing and executing of executive search strategies to identify and engage talent for executive leadership positions, as well as pipelining talent for future opportunities. Your focus will be strategic, creative and passionate about finding passive talent and delivering market-based insights to our hiring leaders.

You will become a trusted business partner and advisor to Hiring Managers and Executive Search Partners and build partnership the wider sourcer community, becoming a role model for executive candidate sourcing, attraction and assessment.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with executive leadership on their most complex executive hiring needs and lead the development of the search strategy

  • Provide deep insights on the external leadership talent market to develop a strong executive search strategy for key roles globally

  • Design and develop dedicated leadership pipelining that supports the future talent needs of the organization and our diversity and internal talent mobility initiatives

  • Lead and prioritize efforts of diversity and inclusion sourcing to ensure we hire a diverse and inclusive workforce. Shape how we as an organization can continue to take measures to improve diversity in technology and at our leadership levels

  • Promote exceptional candidate experience, with timely follow-up, accurate information, and details about the role including job description, process expectations, and other details as needed

  • Through the use of Boolean, LinkedIn, Social Media, and creative search techniques, craft target lists and contact passive executive-level prospects and knowledgeable industry sources to develop a long-list of candidates, driving conversion to strong short-list and ultimate hire

  • Efficiently communicate the opportunity and accurately assess the prospect’s qualifications and ambitions

  • As an ambassador of Expedia Group, understanding our company, brands, and markets, including competitors/ecosystem, products, strategic direction, and role specifics is imperative

  • Demonstrate strong business acumen enabling comprehensive understanding of our targeted markets (competitors/ecosystem), products, strategic direction, and role specifics

Who you are:

  • You have 5+ years of tried & tested executive-level talent sourcing, either from an Executive Search firm or in-house Executive Search team

  • You will have advanced sourcing skills: strong knowledge of sourcing strategies and practices globally; utilizing Boolean search strings across multiple channels; deep internet search, strong research, social media and candidate generation skills

  • You have experience researching & engaging executive leadership talent and able to differentiate senior talent levels, from either in an executive search firm or in-house executive search team

  • Knowledgeable about key industry segments including eCommerce, technology, digital media/internet, travel, retail, etc.

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize ad-hoc market intelligence data to provide insight and inform talent strategies i.e. talent market trends, threats, opportunities etc. You have exceptional talent sourcing experience utilizing Boolean search strings across multiple channels and passionate about creative sourcing

  • Passionate about diversity & inclusion with exerience in diversity sourcing, engaging and attracting leaders

  • A direct and transparent communicator with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality

  • Effective at strategic thinking, problem solving, cross group collaboration, and has persuasive verbal and written communication

  • Have strong project management skills, comfortable dealing with ambiguity and can successfully navigate competing priorities

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $104,000 to $145,500. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $166,500, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $104,000 to $145,500. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $166,500, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in New York City is $112,000 to $156,500. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $179,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in Atlanta is $99,000 to $138,500. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $158,500, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
