Manager, Influencer Marketing
What you'll do:
Craft, manage, and execute full-scale influencer campaigns that support always-on marketing initiatives, objectives, and critical metrics anchored towards engagement and content creation
Research, vet, and engage potential influencers across Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Blogs to build a robust pipeline of talent
Manage a high-touch portfolio of talent to support Expedia Group’s annual Ambassador Program that highlights cross-brand influencer initiatives for Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo
Shape Expedia’s approach to affiliate marketing, launching campaigns focused on driving app downloads and conversion
Provide outstanding influencer marketing counsel that supports the marketing objectives across Expedia Group brands with cross-functional colleagues (PR, organic social, creative and brand strategy) as well as agency partners
Lead all aspects of the development of content creator briefs for photo/video shoots and be skilled to staff events as needed
Plan and execute creator events that coordinate with branded initiatives and offer organic content opportunities for partners and consumers
Oversee key channel tests (new channel development, partner niche category) etc. in collaboration with the Head of Influencer Marketing
Curate lists for creator events: handle outreach, contracting and assist with post approvals
Support on the day to day account management, including the review of influencer trackers, reports, recaps, filing images, social content, call agendas, invoices, budget management, etc.
Ability to develop recap materials following campaign execution to measure and evaluate value, including performance metrics
Provide support and knowledge to junior team members on influencer campaign tactical execution (influencer integrity vetting, content approvals, pricing, negotiation and internal logistics)
Monitor creator landscape to inform new influencer campaign strategies
Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree in related field; or equivalent related professional experience
5+ years of demonstrated ability in a marketing or communications role, working with influencers
Strong relationships with agents and influencer talent is a must
Flexible schedule to accommodate a global company contending with multiple active time zones
Ability to lead a vision and strategy and to be hands-on to get things done
Experience with leading content creator costs, what factors drive pricing and how to adjust scopes of services appropriately in a negotiation
Experience with contracting and nuances of creator SOWs
Ability to think creatively and independently, as well as collaboratively
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
You are comfortable with intense working environments and tight deadlines
Experience in travel space a plus
Experience with CreatorIQ is a plus
New York: The total cash range for this position is $84,500 to $118,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $135,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
