To support our strategic delivery, we have an opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join highly engaged People and Safety team.
About the role
As a HR Business Partner, you will be a trusted partner enabling our leaders to continually improve safety and transform to a high performance business, delivering a valued employee experience.
You will work closely with a key stakeholder group providing guidance to leaders, supporting change management issues and be responsible for creating and executing HR Business Plans for your area. You will assist in the delivery of programmes including engagement, inclusion, succession and talent management along with Employee Relations projects and work closely with the wider HR & OD team.
Key responsibilities;
- Targeting and building employee capability aligned to organisational frameworks by optimising talent, developing succession depth and evolving a performance based culture
- Embedding a structured talent management processes and succession planning to retain, develop and build talent pools
- Supporting leaders to drive high performance and manage low performance through performance management frameworks
- Analysing HR metrics to inform business decisions and to drive organisational change
- Developing processes and capabilities to support change and reorganisation efforts across the organisation
- Provide advice and support on a range of employee relations matters including case management
- Providing leadership, specialised advice, support and direction in relation to escalated matters & grievances relating to disciplinary, employee welfare issues, workplace change and restructure proposals
About You
To achieve our future aspiration’s, we are seeking someone with a well-developed skill set across the spectrum of people practises who will support the business in making people centred decisions aligned to our values and strategic plan.
You will be a proactive individual who can identify key areas of improvement and have the capability to drive culture change. You will have exposure to working in a complex organisation with an active industrial landscape and have a demonstrated ability to operate in a highly autonomous environment.
You have the ability to find solutions to problems using your creativity, reasoning abilities and past experience, whilst being an innovative problem solver will ensure success. You will be able to effectively establish goals, relate and inspire co-workers and be able to mitigate conflict.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Business with majors in HRM and/or ER or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
