THE OPPORTUNITY
Our Power Projects Team is experiencing significant growth, creating an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Construction Manager or an individual ready to step into this role. You will initially be based at our Underdale, SA office and will work closely with our Project Teams during the early stages of the project cycle. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the site of major high-voltage (HV) substations and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects throughout South Australia.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Management and supervision of subcontractors, supervisors & field staff
- Leads the delivery team and ensures quality delivery of planning and scheduling according to project requirements.
- Ensure project documents are complete and to document control standards.
- Lead by example and continually promote relevant aspects of Zero Harm when engaging with operational teams.
- Contributes to the development of project strategy, business plan and budget.

ABOUT YOU
- Trade or tertiary qualified with an electrical/mechanical fitters’ licence and a certificate IV in Civil Supervision/WHS preferred.
- Experience with power transmission, substation projects, or large-scale civil and heavy industrial projects.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with key stakeholders up and downstream.
