You'll be part of a dynamic team at our Derrimut office responsible for delivering exceptional network operations, maintenance, and construction services to customers throughout Victoria and New South Wales.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As part of this role, you can take on the responsibility of ensuring the safety and security of essential assets. With your effective supervision and continuous monitoring of sites, you will contribute to protecting valuable resources. Your dedication to the inspection works and pipeline patrolling will help maintain the pipeline's integrity and prevent any unauthorised excavation and other associated duties. Your commitment to this role will make a meaningful impact in ensuring the safety and security of these vital assets.

Your day-to-day tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Regular patrolling of designated pipeline routes to identify any access and security issues that might arise.
• Monitoring any external work happening near critical assets to ensure the safety and security of those assets.
• Reporting any safety breaches, unauthorised activities, or site alterations that may be observed while conducting patrols.
• Coordinating with third-party contractors to ensure they comply with the conditions set out by Energy Safe Victoria and other relevant authorities.
• Reporting and maintaining associated signage on Transmission pipeline routes.

ABOUT YOU

• Having relevant qualifications & experience in the gas industry is desirable but not essential, as we provide full training and ongoing mentoring.
• Industry induction (white card), first aid, fire and traffic management tickets are advantageous.
• A strong understanding and commitment to safety.
• Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Current licence and full working rights.
