We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Planner to join our diverse Project Performance Team in Wellington. The Senior Construction Planner is a key role and you will be working on some of the largest, complex, and interesting civil construction projects in NZ and across the Pacific, in multiple infrastructure sectors (including motorway construction, wastewater treatment plants and sewers, wind farms, and airports).
We are looking for someone who can coordinate across multiple projects, directly working alongside project managers and engineers, to establish baseline construction programmes and assist with ongoing monthly updating and reporting (including approved baseline adjustments, and critical path analysis). Experience with developing programmes during tendering, including working with estimators, engineers, and bid writers required. Familiarity with earned value measurement and project cash flow forecasting during both design and construction phases is also preferred but not essential.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Experience in developing, monitoring, and reporting on construction programmes
- Strong civil construction experience of 10+ years
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Commercial awareness to develop programmes that enable effective project controls
Experience with project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Asta Power Project would be advantageous.
