THE ROLE
Due to continued growth of the business, we have an opportunity for a Field Coordinator / Asset Inspector to join our evolving and thriving team based in Clayton, VIC. This role is a combination of office and field activities and provides a pathway for the right candidate to develop into a team leader role.
The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Carrying out field activities including asset inspection, reinforcing, and auditing.
- Liaise with the Team Leader in relation to the works programs and assist with scheduling.
- Assist the Team Leader in managing field staff and operational issues.
- Identifying opportunities for improvements in safety, quality and productivity.
- Assist in the development of new strategies and techniques for field activities.
- Resolving customer enquiries resulting from field or office activities.
ABOUT YOU
- Certificate II in Asset Inspection (required).
- Current Drivers’ Licence.
- Knowledge of Communication and Electrical Assets and Maintenance requirements.
- Knowledge of the current asset inspection, pole reinforcement and related procedures, standards, and new developments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with customers and suppliers across all levels of the business.
- A can-do attitude and the desire to succeed.
