THE PROJECT
The Djilang Alliance , comprising of Downer , McConnell Dowell, Arup and WSP Australia, has been selected as the preferred contractor for the South Geelong to Waurn Ponds Duplication.
THE ROLE
As an Experienced Project Engineer specialising in Civil / Road / Rail/ Utilities reporting to the Construction Manager based at our project sites in Marshall or South Geelong , you will be coordinating the design, procurement and construction elements for a designated area on the project to ensure safety, time, cost and environmental objectives are achieved
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure the project is delivered in accordance with time, budget and quality requirements.
- Prepare project plans which include safety, quality and environmental considerations.
- Investigate and support general engineering technical issues whilst identifying project risks and opportunities.
- Assist with budget development, project forecasting and achieving financial targets.
- Identification of plant, labour, material and subcontract resources.
About You:
- Minimum degree qualification in Engineering.
- Demonstrated project experience, construction experience preferred.
- Problem solving ability for best project outcomes.
- Understanding scope & design requirements.
- Developing strong work relationships with all stakeholders.
- Maintaining a Zero Harm safety culture.
