We are looking for an outstanding candidate to fill the role of Draughtsperson in our Northern Design team (focusing on the Vodafone network) and is to be based in Porirua.

About the role:

If you are someone with strong visualisation skills, a keen eye for detail and enjoy the satisfaction of cracking a difficult problem, then this role could be a great opportunity for you!

We are looking for someone who has polished visual sensibility, great interpersonal skills and is keen to learn about the innovative technology and systems of the telecommunications industry. You will be required to record As-Builts information from the field (nationally) and enter into the Vodafone records system (NSK) which is used for future asset management and maintenance.

About you:

To be successful in this role, we would like you to possess:

• Knowledge/ experience of the Telecommunications network is essential for this role
• Experience in technical drawing, AutoCAD or similar CAD software and/ or GIS applications
• Strong visualisation skills with a keen eye for detail
• A passion for producing quality work
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
• A passion for problem solving, using critical thinking and innovation to deliver creative solutions
• Ability to learn new skills quickly and efficiently
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
