Sheet Metal Worker - Shutdowns
Downer is seeking applications from experienced Sheet Metal Workers to join our outage team at Kogan Creek Power Station . Commencing 19 September 2022 near Chinchilla, QLD for approximately 6 weeks, the work scope will be a major shutdown covering most areas of the power station.
ABOUT YOU
- Trade qualified Sheet Metal Worker, with proven experience on heavy industrial projects and/or shutdowns
- Mandatory tickets:
- Construction Induction/White Card
- Working at Heights certificate (within 2 years)
- Confined Space certificate (within 2 years)
- Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks
- Commitment to safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
- Good communication skills, strong work ethic and be able to work well as part of a team
WHAT WE OFFER
- 6 weeks of scheduled work, subject to change
- Monday – Saturday roster, with day and night shift available, 11hr shifts
