The Asset Services Industrial business provides maintenance, turnaround, shutdown and sustaining capital programs for industrial operations and power generation across Australia and operate across industries including minerals and metals, iron ore, petrochemical and refining, bulk materials handling and processing.

Due to planned Shutdown, we are seeking Expression of Interest applications for Mechanical Fitter’s and Pipe Fitter’s who are highly motivated and driven with proven experience within a shutdown environment.

POSITION SUMMARY

Join our Downer team to be part of a major shutdown:

• Shutdown commencing 19th August 2022
• Work located Kwinana
• Two months’ work
• 12-hour shifts
• Very Competitive Rates
• PPE Provided

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role you must provide evidence of the following:

• Hold an Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
• Current Drivers licence
• Current Working at Heights & Confined Spaces tickets
• High Risk WP licence
• Industry White/Blue Card
• Experience working on Clam Shell Lathe
• Previous experience working in a shutdown environment
• Knowledge in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks
• An ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills
• Commitment to safety and perform duties with best practice to safety processes and guidelines within a shutdown environment
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
• Hold Australian work rights
