Our highly diverse and multi-disciplinary team combines deep subject matter expertise, strategic thinking, and data and technology to meet the equally diverse and fast-evolving needs of our clients.
Our practice’s experience and expertise spans Sustainability (or “ESG”) Strategy, Impact Measurement, Climate Risk and Strategy, Work Health and Safety, Crisis Management and Resilience, Risk Culture, Human Rights and Ethics, across a range of assurance and advisory client engagements.
About our Sustainability Strategy work
As an Analyst focused on sustainability strategy work, you will be working with a variety of blue chip, high-profile clients, helping them clarify and shape what sustainability means for their business, respond to stakeholder pressures and expectations, and leverage sustainability as a source of competitive advantage. We offer a broad range of services including (but not limited to):
- Sustainability strategy development and stress-testing of corporate strategy through the ESG lens
- ESG materiality assessments and ESG reporting
- Sustainability narrative and communication strategies
- Impact measurement and assessment
- Sustainability target setting and data management and reporting systems design
- Board sustainability education

You will:
- Be trusted to deliver advisory engagements on climate, biodiversity, human rights, social impact, and use your technical strategy skills to direct others
- Apply your project management skills in scoping, designing, and planning projects to assist organisations in developing and implementing sustainability best practices
- Build highly effective small teams while guiding junior strategy practitioners and building strong client relationships
- Understand the end-to-end sales process, and lead subsections of proposals and small initiatives internally
- Demonstrate an understanding of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) trends - identify opportunities to improve organisational sustainability and how they interconnect among themselves and with strategy and business models
- Develop, analyse and advise on policies to guide the design, implementation and modification of government or commercial environmental operations or programs
- Formulate management goals and objectives to mitigate associated risks and enhance climate and nature-related resilience
- Have an understanding of and provide assurance services for sustainability reporting and key global sustainability frameworks such as B Corp, GRI, SASB and TCFD
- Assist with business development such as conducting industry research, reviewing existing procedures and preparing proposals in order to develop and write sustainability reports
- Strong communication skills and experience working in teams and building relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Experience working with technology solutions for positive social and environmental impact
Additionally using your 2+ years of prior strategy consulting, industry or sustainability experience and project management skillset, you can confidently scope, design, and deliver projects in unfamiliar industries, while directing others within a small team and guiding junior practitioners. With your tertiary or postgraduate degree, creativity, adaptability, and commercial acumen, you will lead the development of deliverable subsections and build strong client relationships.

The minimum salary requirement for this role is $70,000 inclusive of 10.5% superannuation.
