Crown’s award winning Conservatory Restaurant is now looking for an experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead and motivate a team of talented and professional cooks and chefs.
Reporting to the Executive Sous Chef, this crucial role will be responsible for managing the overall kitchen operation ensuring that Conservatory continues to deliver an innovative, new approach to traditional buffets. You must be highly motivated and focused with excellent attention to detail and have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
What you need to succeed:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar Chef de Cuisine position, ideally in a premium international hotel buffet environment
- Effective leadership skills including the ability to train and mentor your team
- Display creativity and passion for food
- Demonstrated exceptional customer service, grooming and presentation
- Solid business acumen to manage and monitor of financial budgets, food and labour costs and other associated expenses
- Ability to rapidly adapt to change and lead team change processes as required
- Able to maintain high and consistent food standards at all times
- You must be fully vaccinated (with two doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine) or have a genuine medical exemption to be eligible to work on site at Crown
