The Technology division delivers the Group's information technology and banking operations functions to ensure the highest levels of customer service through world-class process excellence and technology innovation. Cyber Security protects the bank and our customers from theft, losses and risk events, through effective and proactive management of cyber security, privacy and operational risk.

Your new team:

The Cyber Security group protects the bank and our customers from theft, losses and risk events, through effective and proactive management of cyber security, privacy and operational risk. Cyber Data Protection is responsible for the consultation, design, build and operation of Group-wide security services covering:

• Data loss prevention
• Cryptographic services
• Data Classification & Destruction
• Database Protection

Your impact and contribution:

As the Cryptographic Safe Analyst, you will play a critical role in securing the bank's cryptographic keys. The cryptographic safe management team will be the contact point for business partners across the Bank looking to store physical key material or implement Key Management Plans. You will act as a subject matter expert on many aspects of the key lifecycle process.

Your work will support a range of core technology teams across the bank to ensure that keys critical to their services are safe and expertly managed at all times. This role will report to the Senior Manager Group Encryption Governance.

You will be part of a team of cryptographic specialists who are engaged, passionate & diligent, while implementing sustainable safe sound & secure outcomes for the Group regarding cryptographic security services.

You will also:

• Plan key ceremonies to enable the creation, use and destruction of cryptographic keys.
• Act as a first point of contact for teams across the bank looking to store cryptographic key material.
• Manage all aspects of the physical key safes across multiple locations.
• Participate in a 24/7 rotating on-call roster to ensure support is available to our teams in the event of a high priority incident.
• Work alongside technology project managers, external and internal stakeholders to facilitate key ceremonies.
• Create, review and provide feedback on key ceremony & management documents.
• Attend key ceremonies (including outside of business hours) in both a key custodian and event manager capacity.
• Develop KMP's with various businesses.

This role is for someone with a strong foundational background in cyber security, looking to build their career across a large, complex cyber security landscape. You will support the business on a variety of key security initiatives with the key focus on cryptography including, key management, certificates and encryption.

You will bring:

• Experienced in Cyber Security with strong people management and communication skills are essential.
• Understanding of cryptographic services including key management, certificates and encryption desirable but not essential.
• Be a strategic thinker that has a structured approach to problem solving and have an understanding of the cyber threat impacts on financial processes and business decisions
• Ability to nurture relationships between the technical as well as non-technical stakeholders
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• A can-do attitude with ability to work independently or as part of a team.
