By keeping those relationships strong and processes running smoothly, we’re able to maintain the availability and quality of our products for our customers.
In partnership with Ocado we are in the process of delivering a brand new state-of-the-art customer fulfilment centre in NSW. Harnessing the latest technology this site will offer a wider range to our customers and safter, cleaner environment for our staff. As this site ramps up we have an opportunity for an experienced Assistant Inventory Manager to join the team


About the role


You will be responsible for managing a team within the customer fulfilment centre, overseeing exceptional Inventory processes to help us to deliver a great customer experience. You will also

  • find ways to optimise the Inventory process and support your team in achieving KPIs on safety, customer experience, cost, fulfilment, and delivery
  • be a people leader and guide the team to better ways of working. Developing the team and drive a culture of customer obsession
  • drive compliance across inbound pick and dispatch channels in key inventory management functions such as product range, recalls, damages and quality checks. Ensuring that the team is compliant in line with company values and procedures
  • work cross functionally with key stakeholders across operations leadership to help drive a customer focused culture across the site and effectively communicate improvement potential
  • cultivate innovation as part of a developing site, highlighting areas for improvement to help the organisation be successful on this exciting new project


About you and your skills


We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Inventory leader. Who has experience working in a fast paced logistics environment and can help drive a great culture. You will also have:

  • demonstrated experience in leading and supervising teams in a fast-paced, complex workplace combining automated plant operations with labour intensive and manual workstreams
  • experience driving operational efficiency in the use of market leading warehouse and inventory management systems, including to optimise stock flow & reduce waste.
  • excellent communication skills, developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Experience of developing people, helping them meet both their career goals and the organisations goals
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to plan, build and deliver major change projects in a distribution centre environment
