How can you change it up?
Working as a Passive Engineer, you will investigate, instigate, develop and communicate CityFibre passive engineering improvements so that its application delivers against our business objectives and strategic intent. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Effectively communicating architecture and engineering changes across the business
- Developing installation and building method statements and best practices
- Taking operational learning back into appropriate passive engineering changes and improvements
- Strengthening Service and Component Supplier relationships in alignment with passive engineering roadmap
- Tracking industry trends and identifying near horizon innovations that may bring business advantage
- Working with activity owners, assisting with problem resolution, and supporting issue resolution
What will you bring to the role?
You’ll be a highly motivated individual, who is a critical influencer in shaping the direction of the business through ensuring passive architecture and engineering compliance and adaptation through excellent working relationships with the City build teams and partner organisations. You need to demonstrate a strong understanding of Openreach’s PIA products and their applied usage, showcasing expert-level knowledge of FTTX passive network architecture/ components and industry trends. It is crucial that you have experience in technical content creation and presenting.
