About the Role

This position adopts our Lifestyle Roster, working a pattern of days and nights, with a block of days off at the end of each swing/period. Employees on this roster will have two full weekends off out of four, and will rotate through the following shifts:

  • 2 days of work, 2 nights of work, and 5 days off
  • 2 days of work, 3 nights of work, and 4 days off
  • 3 days on work, 2 nights off work and 5 days off

Shifts are 12.5 hours in duration including the handover requirement to the next team. As part of your remuneration package, you will receive additional shift allowances when worked.

All necessary instruction, both theoretical and practical, as well as ongoing skill development, will be provided. We will instruct you on how to:

  • Proactive monitoring & event management to maintain critical production systems availability
  • Rapidly provide break-fix solutions to restore production system availability following outages
  • Perform maintenance activities that reduce failure rates and downtime of equipment
  • Safe execution of planned maintenance and Change activities
  • Engaging with site operation stakeholders during events, incidents, and changes
  • Working collaboratively in a Network Operations Centre (NOC) environment
  • Raise SAP notification and follow up execution of request.

Requirements:

  • Operational experience within industrial or mining environments will be well regarded but is not mandatory
  • Experience working with or troubleshooting operational technologies will be well regarded but is not mandatory:
  • Fleet Management Systems (e.g. MineStar Command and Terrain, Komatsu FrontRunner)
  • Industrial Wireless networks (e.g. Cisco, Nokia LTE)
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and work with others for a collective outcome
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a range of cross functional stakeholders
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
